2010 – Megan Bergman
The 2010 recipient of the Courage Award was Megan Bergman. Megan was a member of the TAGS Level 10 team for 3 years, and a State Champion in the All-around in 2006 as a level 8 gymnast. Megan suffered a terrible accident while vaulting in a competition, one in which required multiple surgeries just to allow her to walk again. Megan continued her enthusiasm for gymnastics, training in the gym however she is only able to continue on bars as her injuries don’t allow her to participate on any of the other events.
