The Abby Invitational

Courage, Endurance, Hope and Faith. These powerful words exemplify the life of Abby Szott. As a gymnast, Abby amazed us all with her talent, grace and love for the sport. As a cancer patient, she inspired us all by allowing us to follow her journey and witness her never-ending faith in the Lord.

The Abby Invite was created to keep Abby’s spirit and love of gymnastics alive as well as contribute to the Andrew and Abby Szott Foundation, started in memory of Abby and her brother, Andrew. The invite showcases twelve talented gymnastics teams from throughout the state of Minnesota. Money raised from admissions, concessions, t-shirt sales, and a silent auction all benefit the Szott Foundation and its mission. The gymnastics teams, coaches, and parents in District 196 are all very honored to host this annual event in the name of a very special young lady who blessed this Earth for seventeen precious years.
